Product Questions

No — this website only lists products that are currently in stock and ready to ship. KO Welding Tables® offers a much larger product range, including fully custom tables and accessories, which you can explore on our main site - https://koweldingtables.com.au/

K16: Ideal for light-duty fabrication (1.6mm–2mm tube work, hobbyists, one-person jobs). More affordable, lighter-weight tables and fixtures.

K28: Built for medium to heavy-duty fabrication (from 2mm wall tube up to structural applications). Heavier-duty, more robust, will remain flatter for a longer period of time, and with a wider range of accessories.

In-stock tables vary in size. KO Welding Table’s® custom tables can be built in 100mm increments from 1.0m x 0.5m up to 4.0m x 2.0m. Only selected sizes will appear on this site, depending on stock availability. If you want to order a custom size, please submit a quote request on our main website - https://koweldingtables.com.au/

Yes — all KO Welding Tables® are built to tight tolerances:

  • Flatness: ±0.1mm per 1m²
  • Hole distance: ±0.05mm
  • Hole diameter: +0.05mm

Each table is supplied with a certificate of conformance.

Each table ships with a certificate of conformance. Flatness is held to ±0.1 mm/m², hole spacing ±0.05 mm, and hole diameter +0.05 mm. With proper use and maintenance, these tolerances will hold for years.

KO Welding Tables® are available in:

  • S355 Steel (K16 & K28)
  • T300 Cast (K28 only)
  • Stainless Steel (K28 only)

Various surface treatments include:

  • Raw
  • Burnished
  • Plasma nitriding

All surface treatments are available for all tables. Keep in mind that table material and surface treatments are limited to what is in stock. If you need a specific material or treatment that you don’t see on this website, please check our main website - https://koweldingtables.com.au/ - to submit a quote request.

The 50mm grid (unique to KO’s K28 series) allows for more precise fixturing and repeatable setups, which are ideal for batch work, tight tolerances and complex assemblies.

Yes — this Australian-first design delivers nine holes per 100 × 100 mm square and extra ribbing underneath to maintain flatness. It allows you to lock stops or angles anywhere using two pins, giving rock-solid clamping and repeatable precision on complex jobs. The diagonal grid offers 45° positioning but has lower density at five holes per 100 mm².

No — we add additional ribbing beneath the K28 top to compensate for the increased hole density. Load capacity and flatness remain unchanged, and any weight increase is minimal.

Cast iron can’t accept the extra precision ribbing required for the 50 mm grid without compromising quality. For this reason, it’s only offered on steel and stainless models.

The diagonal grid adds a single center hole to the standard 100 mm pattern (five holes per 100 mm²), allowing for 45° positioning. The 50 mm × 50 mm grid forms a dense square matrix (nine holes per 100 × 100 mm) with added ribbing for strength and is exclusive to steel and stainless tops — it's our most popular upgrade.

We offer plasma nitriding on both steel and cast-iron tops — a rare option among Australian suppliers.

Not at all. Nitriding is a diffusion process that doesn’t alter electrical conductivity or magnetic properties.

Go with 304 stainless steel to minimise the risk of cross-contamination. It’s more expensive, but worth it if stainless work is critical.

K28 tops are rated for up to 1 tonne per m² (evenly distributed). Heavy ribbing beneath the surface prevents deflection under load.

Weekly wipe-down with light oil, monthly hole cleaning with a KO WT brush, and occasional use of an oil stone for surface burrs. Avoid grinders. Nitrided surfaces require less frequent cleaning.

Yes — all KO accessories use industry-standard 16 mm or 28 mm pins and will fit other tables with matching hole diameters. Just ensure the plate thickness is suitable for heavy-duty fixtures.

Orders & Availability

Yes — every product listed here is in stock and available for immediate dispatch. Stock moves fast, so availability can change daily.

Absolutely. For made-to-order products and custom setups, visit our main site: https://koweldingtables.com.au/

Yes — accessories like clamps, pins, angles, blocks and pipe supports are available individually. Only those currently in stock will be listed on this site. For the full range of accessories that can be ordered, please check our main website - https://koweldingtables.com.au/

We regularly replenish stock based on demand. If something’s out of stock, feel free to contact us for an ETA or to request a restock.

Yes and no tolerances don’t change — tops are available in 100 mm increments from 1.0 × 0.5 m up to 4.0 × 2.0 m. Legs come in fixed, adjustable, and hydraulic options. All sizes maintain our tight tolerances and QC. For custom sizing (tables and legs) please check our main website to submit a quote request - https://koweldingtables.com.au/

Yes — we’ve partnered with finance providers to offer flexible payment plans. Spread the cost and start boosting productivity right away. Financing is available on orders through our main website - https://koweldingtables.com.au

Some imported tables may use thicker plates, but they often skip KO’s third machining pass, radiused edges, or strict quality control. KO Welding Tables® are precisely machined, individually tested, and come with a certificate of conformance. Features like nitriding and our 50 mm grid are unique advantages.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship Australia-wide. Freight costs and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout.

Orders are dispatched the next business day. Delivery to Metro areas is roughly 5 business days, and regional areas (depending on location) is roughly 8 business days.

For large or heavy items like tables, you’ll need access to a forklift or lifting equipment. If you don’t have one, let us know and we’ll help arrange suitable delivery options.

Warranty & Support

Yes — KO Welding Tables® stand behind their products. We have a 3 year warranty on welding tables, and a 1 year warranty on accessories.
