Once you’ve placed and paid for your order on KO Welding Tables®:
We typically process and dispatch all in-stock items within one business day (business days = Monday to Friday, excluding Victorian public holidays).
Orders placed after 1:00 pm AEST or on weekends/public holidays will begin processing the next business day.
If an item is out of stock or delayed, we will notify you via email (or phone if you’ve provided) with an estimated dispatch date.
We ship Australia-wide, all items dispatch from Australia.
We use recognised freight/carrier partners (e.g., Australia Post, Main Freight) depending on the product size/weight/destination.
Your chosen carrier and service level will be confirmed at checkout.
Pickup is free from our Ballarat, Victoria warehouse.
At this stage we only ship to Australia, although if you can arrange shipment to be picked up from our warehouse, located in Ballarat, Wendouree, Australia. Contact us, we can make an exeption.
Delivery times depend on your location, the size/weight of your order, and the shipping service selected. The following are estimates only:
Metro areas (capital cities): typically 1-5 business days after dispatch.
Regional/rural areas: typically 3-10 business days after dispatch.
Large or heavy-item freight (e.g., welding tables): delivery may take 5-12 business days, depending on carrier scheduling and remote location.
If your delivery takes significantly longer than the estimate, please contact us and we’ll investigate.
Shipping cost is calculated during checkout based on: item weight/size, destination postcode/region, carrier and service selected. We may also offer:
Free standard shipping for orders above a certain value (e.g., “Free standard shipping Australia-wide on orders over AUD $X”).
Flat-rate shipping by region.
After dispatch you’ll receive an email with your tracking number and carrier link (or purchase order information for freight carriers).
Use this to monitor your shipment’s progress and approximate delivery time.
If you do not receive a tracking email within 48 hours of dispatch, please contact us and we’ll check with the carrier.
Please ensure someone is available or arrange for safe receipt (e.g., neighbour, secure location) at the delivery address you provided.
For large/heavy freight deliveries: the carrier will typically deliver to the kerbside, driveway or warehouse entrance unless a “white-glove” or inside delivery service is selected and paid for.
Please inspect your delivery upon arrival. If there’s visible damage or missing items, note it on the delivery docket and take a photo. Then contact us within 24 hours so we can deal with the carrier and resolve the issue.
Once the item is delivered and signed for, the risk transfers to you, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
Duties, taxes, customs fees, and import restrictions for your country are the buyer’s responsibility.
Estimated delivery times exclude delays due to customs or local import regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse shipping to locations subject to embargo, restricted access, or unreasonably high freight cost.
If you need to change your shipping address or modify/cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. Once dispatch has occurred we may not be able to amend the shipment.
If the carrier charges for address changes or redirections, those costs may be passed to you.
For our returns/refunds policy, see our separate “Refunds & Returns” page. Briefly: if you return goods (in accordance with that policy) you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
